Considering himself more a music fan than a musician. Kris' music reflects heavy influence from U2, the cure, Radiohead and the local music around Arkansas. Mostly his desires reside in using Beaten Path Records to create a place for artists to have their music heard. Begining with the help of friends, Kris and a few other BP members held a couple music festivals to create a place to express all the talent in and around the local community here. "Little Rock and the surrounding areas we've grown up in has created a place of more artists than it knows what to do with. Audiences at shows here tend to be musicians themselves and at times it has been a frustrating place for individuals to be heard among such a group. We want to use our resorces we have and hopefully improve on getting artists heard." -Kris |
